Healthy Minds

Healthy Minds

The mental health of children and young people, specifically that they have the resilience and support to flourish in the modern world, is a key priority at Concord.

The Healthy Minds Project is an opportunity for CAMHS and schools to work together to support a whole school approach to emotional wellbeing alongside other key partners such as Educational Psychology, MAST, SEND and School Nursing.

We were fortunate enough to have our bid to take part in the project accepted and all school staff have already had training on the project.

Three key staff have been identified to lead on the project through school:

Miss Nicola Sherwood
Miss Lauren Mysiw
Miss Lucie Harker
Pupil voice is vital to the success of any project we take part in; we will be electing 6-8 pupils to join the project as Healthy Minds Champions.

As the project will also benefit the wider school community, we are asking parents, pupils and staff to give us their views by completing a short survey. The responses will help to shape an action plan, which will form the basis of our work on the project.

To complete the survey, please click on the link below:

If you have any questions or would like more information about the project, please contact one of our key staff.
